شرکت فولادکاوان حامی ایرانیان در سال 1397 با هدف احداث کارخانه گندله سازی در استان کردستان و در شهرک صنعتی حسن آباد یاسوکند شهرستان بیجار و در فاصله حدود 130 کیلومتری از شهر زنجان تاسیس گردید و درسال 1399 مجوز ظرفیت احداث واحد از 600 هزارتن در سال به 800 هزارتن درسال افزایش یافت. جهت احداث کارخانه، زمینی به مساحت 15 هکتار در شهرک صنعتی حسن آباد در سال 1399 خریداری گردید. مراحل انعقاد قرارداد احداث کارخانه از اواسط سال 1400 شروع گردید و پیمانکار مربوطه که متشکل از کنسرسیوم شرکتهای ایرانی و خارجی می باشد نیز انتخاب و قرارداد جهت اجراء ابلاغ و عملیات اجرائی آن آغاز شده است. در اوایل سال 1401 بخشی از سهام شرکت فولاد کاوان حامی ایرانیان به شرکت فولادمبارکه واگذار شده است تا از طریق این مشارکت توانایی افزایش توسعه های آینده و احداث خطوط جدید کنسانتره و گندله سازی و… در منطقه ایجاد گردد و استان کردستان به یکی از قطب های تامین مواد اولیه مورد نیاز صنایع فولا کشور تبدیل گردید.زیرساخت های لازم جهت اجرای پروژه از قبیل: برق دوران ساخت و دوران بهره برداری- سیستم های مخابراتی- حصارکشی زمین کارخانه و… نیز باهمکاری شرکت شهرک های صنعتی منطقه و استانداری کردستان در دست اقدام است.
